“The first experience that made me welcomed was after I applied through the university’s website and link, less than two hours I received a called from the Student Care telling me the benefits and mode of payment. The way she spoke to me was encouraging. The lecturers are not only teaching but rather they wants the best for all students amidst their busy schedules. This is indeed an institution that is open to all races and I’m grateful being a student of the university of Cumbria. ”
“The flexibility and support from the college was great. I knew if I needed anything, I could post on the forum and get an answer back quickly. The course material was everything I needed and the online platform was easy to navigate and had all the information I could have wished for.”
“It was almost a Zen-alike experience to grant myself the opportunity to focus for multiple days on one subject, and really dive into the depths of it. It had been 27 years since I allowed myself to do that, and I loved it. I learned a lot of things during my LLM and it enabled me to think and work on a different, more intense, level. Great experience!”
“Long nights in bringing the relevant research together. It was a great pathway from the beginning to the end. Challenging, but at the same time very rewarding. My advice is to “make it your project” and dive into the modules from the beginning until the end. Make yourself a schedule, especially if you are working in parallel and having family.”
“The time I spent studying online was a new and memorable experience for me. The major part of my studies was done during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic era; but the flexible study timings, the provision of relevant study materials and the periodic assessments helped in enhancing knowledge and the mastery of the subject matter during the period. Prospective students should take advantage of the flexible and structured mode of study by opting for the most convenient study duration pattern. ”
“Despite covid, timelines were met and the university did stick to the teaching schedule and the resources from the e-library.”
“My MBA experience was one of the best learning experiences I had. The lecturers, the processes, the support provided to me as a student was second to none. The richness of the course content was enhanced by the interaction with global peers within the program. The most enjoyable part of the program was the residency, whilst we had to do this online due to pandemic the lecturers like George Boak, Greig and Dr Radu who led our residency sessions made the experience unique, engaging, beneficial for submitting the final thesis. So much effort was made post the residency to support us students to achieve our goal. I would highly recommend this program and these two universities to any potential student. You will not be disappointed by the course work, the experience, the lecturers and the interaction with your peer group of students. ”
“I have really enjoyed my course because of the mode of delivery. It gave me the opportunity to work and study in parallel without compromising on any of these. The forums that are animated by the lecturers for the various modules have been very engaging and enriching especially through the sharing of experiences from other classmates from other countries and professional background. The online research facilities provides by the college are really amazing with a wealth of materials. The more so the guidance of the lecturers are very important. In short the support provided by the platform is excellent ”
“Do not be afraid to dive into a completely new and unfamiliar topics. Change yourselves, update your knowledge and lead the changes inside you and in your environment!”
